Conversational Training Course

Conversational training course (coded as РТ) gives the possibility to imitate the situation of real communication.
Who can enroll? Adults, students and schoolchildren aging from 14 who know English not lower than on elementary level, want to better their communicative skills or to find a more interesting and better paid job.
  The characteristics of the course:
The course consists of 14 thematic chapters:

1. Friends (famous people, family, friendship).
2. Rest (stress and relaxation, books, films, music).
3. Dating (relations, personality).
4. Adrenalin ( sport, risk).
5. Children and childhood, memories.
6. News.
7. Parties ( invitations, festivals, special meetings).
8. Serials ( American serials, family relations).
9. Time (job, business letters, resume).
10. Travelling, holidays (interesting places, greeting cards).
11. Food, restaurants, recipes, restaurant ethics.
12. Communication ( telephone conversations, men and women).
13. Fashion (clothes, appearance).
14. Age and age limitations.

  The course includes:

1. a great number of instructive and entertaining original texts;
2. fragments from cartoons;
3. newspaper articles;
4. journal publications.

  Speaking activities are aimed at:
-creative development of the student;
-his life experience;
-expressing his opinion.
This course will help you to use your active vocabulary. Lexical exercises will demonstrate the usage of words and word combinations in the conversation of the native speakers.
Special discs, recorded by English actors, offer dialogues, interviews and popular songs.
The course is aimed at developing communicative skills on the basis of true to life situations.
    The results of the course:
-enlarging your active vocabulary;
-developing communicative skills;
-the ability to make a resume, a business letter and an invitation.
-the ability to work with original texts.
The lesson lasts for 120 minutes.
The course lasts for 93 academic hours. You may attend classes twice or three times a week. Your studying on this programme may last from 3 to 4,5 months.
