The course “An Interview with an employer” (coded as CP) includes carefully chosen materials and role-playing games which will help you to get ready for the interview in English and to overcome a language barrier in a short period of time.
The course is aimed at those who want to find a more interesting and a better paid job.
The characteristics of the course:
The course “An interview with an employer” and a text-book with the same name (+CD) are divided into two main parts:
The first part is dedicated to the process of the interview itself:
1). Lexicon connected with an interview.
2). More than 200 widespread questions asked by employers and possible answers.
3). Dialogues.
4). Pieces of psychological advice as far as the behaviour at and after the interview is concerned.
5). Business ethics.
6). Role-playing games which imitate the process of the interview.
The second part is dedicated to the documents for the interview.
You will learn how to make:
1). Application forms.
2). Resumes.
3) Cover letters.
4) Letters of reference.
5) Thank-you letters.
The results of the course:
-increasing your active vocabulary to a hundred and fifty new words;
-revising basic English grammar;
-improving oral skills;
-enriching your conversation with idioms and clichés characteristic for the situation with an interview;
-getting ready for an interview with an employer.
The lesson lasts for 120 minutes.
The course lasts for 21 academic hours. You may attend classes two or three times a week. Your studying may last from two weeks to one month.
The document you get after finishing the course is a certificate ( consult the appropriate section on the information).
