How to learn English

   Be frank: how many times did you start learning a foreign language. Once, twice, three times…..And maybe much more. But somehow you failed to move further than your words and promises.
There is no need to argue whether it is necessary or not to know a foreign language as it is a of any person in any sphere-medicine, law, teaching, programming, and management. If you want to develop as a personality and have a career move you cannot do without a foreign language.
“That is all true” , you may agree, “But how will I find time to sit at the desk and start working.”
If you manage to plan your time in a right way you will see that you have more than enough of it to insert a foreign language studying into your schedule. But this will become possible if you realize the importance of a foreign language in your life.
Psychologists determine six main motivations which make a person learn a foreign language:

1. Career move.

Being a very good specialist in your sphere but not knowing a foreign language will deprive you of the opportunity to work with foreign partners. Your less experienced colleagues will be able to use it just because they know a foreign language. Isn’t that depressing
In today’s Ukrainian labour market every third company the knowledge of a foreign language from its employees.

1. Studying and working abroad.

It has become prestigious and perspective to get education abroad. To do this, first of all, you will have to gather a lot of documents, beginning with CV and ending with extracts from all your documents in a foreign language. Then you will have an interview in a foreign language which usually lasts more than an hour. And if you can trust the work with your documents to some other person, you will have to go through the interview yourself.
Not knowing a foreign language you will find it impossible to go through the interview on your own.

1. Travelling abroad.

Any person who has ever traveled abroad will prove how inconvenient it is not to know a foreign language. If a person respects himself he won’t communicate with the help of gestures as a monkey.
Agree that “homo sapiens” is able to ask elementary questions and give short distinct answers in response to your communication partner’s question.

1. Work with foreign partners.

Cooperation with foreign partners and opening of the foreign in Ukraine becomes more popular. 144 of foreign firms and organizations have been registered in Kyiv. It is clear that only those people who have a good command of the language can work in these organizations.

1. Participation in international conferences and training.

Foreign language communicative skills enable a person to use the Internet and mass media to develop personally and professionally. You also get used to reading, writing and thinking in a foreign language. It is a direct way to international conferences held by native speakers.

1. Business trips.

Business trips present new possibilities for your business development, meeting with interesting people, profound and detailed acquaintance with a foreign culture and mentality.

Maybe you’ll get interested in the following fact: 80% of the Ukrainian business surface is occupied by the English language. That’s why most people start with it. A marketing survey conducted among 460 working men and women between 22 and 49 showed the following results:
-51% of the respondents learn a foreign language for promotion prospects;
-23% want to study or work abroad;
-12% are eager to feel at ease abroad;
-7% plan to use it during business trips;
-4% for participation in international conferences;
-3% with the purpose of communication with foreign business partners.
